The flame burns bright for the once-flickering heartbeats, now reduced to ash.
The flame burns bright for the lives that were left unseen, existing only in darkness.
The flame burns bright for the most fragile of humans, babies who lived for but a moment.
The flame burns bright for the lives that were brief, yet powerful enough to change ours forever.
The flame burns bright for the ones who are absent from this life, but await our arrival in the next.
The flame burns bright for the love that continues to burn in our hearts.
The flame burns bright so their lives may continue to shine through ours.
The flame burns bright so that when life feels dark, we may remember their light.
The flame burns bright for the those who sparked a fire within us.
The flame burns bright for my babies and yours. For a mother’s love can never be snuffed out.
On this Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, I honor all of our babies who left this earth too soon.

Thank you for your articles. My daughter-in-law and son have been trying for over a year to conceive. They have now suffered two miscarriages and armrest devistated. I too am so very sad. I rejoice with my friends who are becoming grandparents and their children but hurt for my children and myself for our loss.
I am so sorry Angela. It hurts as it should – loss of life in any capacity is devastating. Please know I am praying for you and your son and daughter-in-law.
